The Hall of Justice in Ozone Park is yet another defunct Comic Shop in Queens. There are very few left.  Silver Age in Astoria, Comic Den in Kew Gardens (last legs), Comic Book Heaven in Sunnyside (last legs), Royal Collectibles in Forest Hills.  There’s Montasy in Forest Hills too and the completely wiling Duel Zone underneath the Hong Kong Supermarket in Flushing — but Duel Zone is mostly an ultra-insane super-serious Magic Card and Yu-Gi-Oh tournament spot.

Terraza is one of the coolest bars in Queens or anywhere else in NYC. This is last night with the Alex Brown Quartet, playing on the suspended platform above the bar. Just about every night of the week has something awesome going on, from Latin jazz or folk to readings of a sort. You’ll dig.
